David has been Pastor and Team Leader at TBC since June 2011. He has been a Christian since childhood and is passionate about encouraging others to know Christ too. He loves the community of Thatcham and is often to be seen sipping a coffee with friends in Costa which he tells us is work. David has been Pastor and Team Leader at TBC since June 2011. He is married to Gill and they have three grown up children. David has been a Pastor for over 20 years and was a secondary school teacher before that.

Deacons
The Deacons are the elected leadership team of Thatcham Baptist Church. They meet every month to plan the mission, ministries and activities of the Church as well as organising the Church finances and caring for the upkeep of the Church building and Manse.

Liz lives in Cold Ash with her husband Nick & the youngest of their five children. She was brought up in a Christian family & made the choice to follow Jesus for herself at the age of 11. “I’m looking forward to serving our church family & the local community too. It‘s exciting to see what God is going to do next!
Steve Goss
Deacon (Adult Discipleship)
Steve is married to Zoe. They moved to West Berkshire in 2016 and settled in Thatcham Baptist Church in 2021. Steve's background is in business, specifically in marketing roles, but for the last 20 years he has led a Christian discipleship ministry. He has a heart for teaching and discipleship.

Mark is married to Charlene. They were married at TBC and are proud parents.
Anne Stopher
Deacon (secretary and pastoral)
Anne has been a Christian for many years and started attending TBC in 2016 where she was baptised in September 2021. Originally from Lytham St Annes in Lancashire, Anne moved to Berkshire in 1987 to be married. She has two grown up sons and enjoys a variety of outdoor sports as well as running a music group for pre-school children.
