Thinking of coming along? Here's everything you need
A first visit anywhere new can feel daunting. So here's exactly what happens on a Sunday morning at TBC — no surprises, no pressure, just a warm welcome.
A Sunday morning, start to finish
Our morning service lasts around an hour and a quarter. Here's the shape of it.
- Come as you areIt's informal — jeans and trainers are completely fine. There's no dress code and no "right" way to be.
- A welcome team on the doorSomeone friendly will say hello, hand you anything you need and help you settle in.
- Sit wherever you likeFront, back or on the aisle — it's entirely up to you. No one will make you stand up or introduce yourself.
- Notices, songs, a reading and a talkA typical morning includes a few notices, some sung worship, a Bible reading and a down-to-earth talk. Children head to their groups partway through.
- A hearing loop is availableJust ask a member of the welcome team and they'll help you get set up.
- Tea, coffee and a chat afterwardsStay as long or as little as you like. It's a lovely, no-obligation way to meet a few people.
A note about our livestream
We livestream the morning service on YouTube so those who can't be there in person can still join in. The camera mainly faces the front, and the front two rows may occasionally appear on camera — if you'd rather not be filmed, simply sit further back. Under-18s are never intentionally filmed. Do ask the welcome team if you have any questions.
